NOD32 2
NOD32 has effective heuristics to protect against unknown viruses. The program has an easy-to-use interface and, despite its thoroughness, scans are fast. We awarded NOD32 as PC User's best antivirus program of 2001 and 2002, and it received the VB 100% award from the Virus Bulletin in 2003.

Username and password are embedded into the program
Please note that the username and password for this month are embedded into the program files. This means you will need to reinstall NOD32 if you have NOD32 previously installed. See installation instructions below. Once the installation has been completed, the latest version of the virus definition database must be downloaded immediately to ensure the highest detection capabilities. Use the 'Update Now' button in the NOD32 Control Center Update tab. This will give you your 30-day trial and virus definition update of NOD32.

Installing NOD32 2

1. Download the appropriate installation package of NOD32 2 for your operating system.
2. Uninstalling the currently installed NOD32 1 is not necessary – just run the installation package of NOD32 2, which you have downloaded by double-clicking on the file.
3. A dialog offering NOD32 reinstallation appears. Follow the instructions provided in the dialog windows.
